Enable the Developer Console

Step 1: Open Options

Step 2: Click Advanced

Step 3: Check "Enable developer console" and click "OK"

That’s it! You should now be able to open the console with the ` key. If that key doesn’t work or you want to change the keybind, open Options again and scroll to the bottom of the Keyboard settings. You will see “Toggle developer console” at the very bottom of the list.
