Access Your .minecraft Folder

There are several ways to get to your .minecraft folder, and the launcher that you use will change how to access it. This guide assumes you are using the official Minecraft Launcher.

Use the  Win  +  R  shortcut to open the Run program. Enter %appdata%/.minecraft into the text box and then click  OK  or press  Enter .

A File Explorer window should open with your .minecraft folder.

The full (default) path to your .minecraft folder should be C:\Users\<yourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft.
