Connect to a ZeroTier Network

Step 1: Open ZeroTier UI

If it's not open already, open the ZeroTier UI program so that it shows in your system tray. Click on it to open its menu.

Step 2: Join New Network

Click the  Join New Network...  button. A new window should appear.

Step 3: Enter Network ID

Max's Hub Users: You will need get the ZeroTier Network ID from Maxme (Max) directly.

Paste a network ID into the text box and then click the  Join  button. The ZeroTier One background program will begin connecting to the network.

Step 4: Check Network List

Open the ZeroTier UI menu and look for the network's ID in the list. Hovering over the network will show details on its connection.

The value of Status can tell you if you're connected or not:

• REQUESTING_CONFIGURATION - The ZeroTier background program is attempting to connect to the network.
• OK - You are connected to the network.
• ACCESS_DENIED - YourYou deviceare was ableconnected to find the network but youyour dodevice does not have permission to joinaccess the network yet.anything. This is normal if you're connecting to oura network for the first time, as you will have to be manually authorized.

Max's Hub Users: Once you connect, you will need to let me know so that I can authorize your device. You will need to provide part or all of your address. Your address is shown in the ZeroTier UI menu at the top where it says "My Address:".
