Step 3: Use Help Resources
At this point, you'll want to check two things: 1) the service's information page, and 2) relevant connection help resources.
Service Information Page
These pages can be found on the Max's Hub Wiki. Ensure you are entering the domain/IP address correctly without errors. Look to see if the service has special requirements for connecting, such as our Minecraft servers requiring you to provide your username.
Minecraft Players: Please make sure you are checking the Whitelist Center on the wiki. Even if you have connected to a server in the past, that does not mean you are on the primary whitelist!
Connection Help Resources
The primary resource you'll want to use, second toBesides this troubleshooting guide, isyou'll probably want to use any applicable Connect to a Server pages. For example, if you are connecting to a Minecraft server then you'll want to use the Connect to a Server page in the Minecraft book. All games that have multiplayer in some capacity have a Connect to a Server page on the wiki. You can actually use the search/tag feature on the Help Center to list all of these.
Reference these pages to make sure you are actually entering the address properly for that game and not missing any extra steps. If you're still having issues after ensuring you're entering the address correctly and properly attempting to connect, then proceed to the next step.
